Last week I took a day to head over to Jersey and while I didn't get myself to go on Kingda Ka (you shoot 45 stories high at 128 mph on our world-record-breaking Kingda Ka — the tallest, fastest roller coaster on Earth) I enjoyed many other roller coasters. Next time I will make Kingda Ka my first stop so there will be no excuses!
First we went on El Toro, then Bizarro, then it was lunch time. It was so hot I needed water! They have a promo where you buy there $13 water bottle and you get free refills all day, .99 refills any visits for the rest of the season. Its still a lot and my friend and I were debating it if it were worthwhile. So the lady in front of us on line gives us a coupon for $3 off and my friend and I each put in $5 for unlimited water/lemonade/soda all day which came in handy being that is was sooo hot! The sun was beating down, I actually got some color. Didn't think to bring sunscreen but had a white t I put over my tank top to save my shoulders. Anyways we stayed thrifty at lunch buying a double burger which we split, each getting a burger but eatting only half a bun. We made up for it in the curly fries we consumed. Ws definately a day for bargains. We only had a lil party of 3 so it wasn't going to work out evenly with coke's buy one get one promo. I thought I found a kid to go halveses with me but after camping out on line I realized they must have gone to another line... so I had to shop around for another bogo partner. I asked the big group in front of us, and no offense I mean this in the best way, always ask the Jews, they always have a better deal! This guy was like hold on, I have a better deal. He recounted the number in his group and lucky me he had one extra $15 ticket to the park! A much better deal than half off their $50 normal day pass.
As you know I love copy paste, so here are the rollercoasters we did this year:
Bizarro
Medusa becomes Bizarro, the peculiar creature from Htrae where inhabitants believe in doing the opposite of Earthly things. Experience fog and fiery flame effects timed perfectly with heart-pumping audio for an unforgettable ride.Soar over Gotham City just like the Caped Crusader on Batman the Ride. You’ll be strapped in tight with nothing but air below your dangling feet.
Batman the Ride
The Dark Knight Coaster
Journey through Gotham in its darkest hour. Experience The Dark Knight Coaster in total darkness.
El Toro
Grab adventure by the horns and tackle the monster El Toro, featuring the steepest drop of any wooden coaster in the country.
Theme Parks Magazine recently voted El Toro as the #2 top wooden roller coaster.
Nitro
Blast off with Nitro—the most explosive coaster on the planet! Soar nearly 23 stories in the air and dive nearly 22 stories down at speeds approaching 80 mph.
Theme Parks Magazine recently voted Nitro as the #7 top steel roller coaster.
Rolling Thunder - was my first roller coaster ever when I first went on back in seventh grade on a school trip
The classic Rolling Thunder is a dual-track wooden roller coaster with a nearly 8- story drop and 10 great hills to cruise.
Skull Mountain
Explore the dark side of fun on Skull Mountain, an indoor, in-the-dark roller coaster full of hidden tunnels and unexpected twists.
