Emma Kate is so cute even though all I have seen her do so far is sleep, its the cutest hehehe. I got a pic of me and my sisters and one of the cute little family.

It's been a long day, starting at 5am... baby born 7lbs 7oz, 21 inches, at 8:04pm.

Going to crash and will be back at the hospital tomorrow to see them :)

Angels & Demons

Went to see Angels & Demons tonight. I did not read the book and really enjoyed the movie. My uncle however was a big fan of the book and of course thought it was better than the movie. Tis each his own but seriously worth it, Ron Howard and Tom Hanks will not disappoint you!

More exciting to me are the new Tanger outlets I didn't even know about! SO happy I tagged along with mom and her brother and his boyfriend! I will be on vacation next week yet still around town so guess where I will be going! Shopping! for sure! I even felt out of state when there lol, seriously its very nice and clean and very un New York! So it was a very good night!

Movie Marathon

I watched a few new movies this rainy weekend. Friday night was Role Models & Pineapple Express, Saturday was My Best Friends Girl & Baby Mama. All comedies, funny stuff. I really enjoyed Role Models as I must say I do love Paul Rudd and his typecast character of the ever so cynic down about life, and Pineapple Express was a stoner movie which got pretty weird but was ok, I mean what do you want from a stoner flick? My Best Friends Girl was really funny. Baby Mama even more funny and I liked the ending to this movie a lot. Overall I'd say the best was Role Models though because it was so funny and had that warm fuzzy ending.

the arrival

i got my new shoes in the mail today and I LOVE THEM! they are more than i ever thought they could be! so gorgeous and while i have only worn them around the house so far they are comfortable too. when i saw them i oohed and ahhed and when i put them on i said "i feel like barbie". they are just too precious and i am so happy i waited to buy them for 41.25 and not 99 although even if i did pay full price i would not have been disappointed. every girl knows what its like to pay extra for that special pair of shoes although i have yet to fully indulge. what perfect timing tho, after my first pedicure. i believe i am officially a member of the girls club : )

so much to say

i have been a busy girl. astronomy night, movies, communion party, play, work, gym, first manicure/peticure - yes i know how could i have waited so long!, work, dinner, westbury gardens, moms day, family in general, and my library card has not had so many books out in some time. reading fun fiction, to non fiction titles like a leadership book i bought written by a professor from bryant university (where i got my undergrad) to meditational and buddhism books. also checking out baby books for my sister who is due any day now. official due date is the 20th but you never know! just got 3 for her today - the everything mother's first year book a survival guide for the first 12 months of being mom, the babycenter essential guide to your baby's first year, and twelve hours' sleep by twelve weeks old - i mean the girl can dream right :)

Swapping Lives

This was a cute story although it took me awhile to finish. It was an entertaining read tho, even read some while on the elliptical at the gym. Anyways its more for those girls that can see themselves as one of the two main characters, single professional yet missing the marriage and kids, or the married mother that longs for a life of her own. Neither one being me so I didn't connect too strongly with this one yet did love their stories. Instead I stick to the single girl proud to be single, though wanting more, yet knowing she can't want too much more because she is too happy and proud with where she is now like me :) and if that doesn't make any sense well that is why I read and not write!

I have been in love with these sandals since before Valentine's Day! Good things come to those who wait! They were initially $99 and I could not justify buying these sandals during our snowy winter. However it is now May and I have been wearing nothing but sandals and the sales are here! With the sandals marked down to $69 and a promo for "40shoes" to get 40% off on top of the mark down getting these gorgeous sandals for under 50 bux how could i not buy them? I mean they came in purple! Of course I bought a bunch of cute tops too. On a shopping high : ) But under control, like I said, marked down plus 40% off! I deserve the additional tops I got on clearance!
