Getting Rid of Matthew

A suggested read from the book club that never was but still an entertaining read. After reading many Jane Green books I welcomed another author staging her books in London. However what was tricky was reading about Helen, a women who knowingly had an affair with a married man. I would not like to think about these women especially see the story from their perspective... it still doesn't make it an acceptable act but there is still compassion for this poor lost soul. Truly soap opera quality yet rich enough in raw emotion to be a part of my beloved chic lit books. It took me a couple months to read this while usually its only a couple weeks tops. Dealt with my emotions and feelings of cheating. Thought more into the characters than there really was but it made it a more entertaining read for me that I definitely got involved with and hope many others can enjoy it as well.

Hi/Lows

One of my favorite parts of the movie The Story of Us was when the family had dinner together. Each would share their own high/lows for the day.
High of today would be: My dad celebrated his 50th birthday today. Went out to dinner with the whole gang and home for dessert after.
Low: Getting the voicemail of someone I wanted to talk to.

Overall a pretty good day!
