Sydney White

She's totally wearing my t-shirt in that picture! Anyways I was so blonde to not catch on "Sydney White" to "Snow White" with 7 dorks till way late in the movie. Um yeah. So its funny and seriously are there places where someone really thinks they totally run the show? I hope there are more Sydney's like me out there that tell people how it is :) People only have the power that we give them so like, just take it away, duh! Yes this movie does have those types of sorority girls so if you are already thinking like gag me with a spoon before watching don't even bother. But if you eat up these movies I am sure you have already seen this one.
With a lack of anything to watch on tv I have been renting what's for free from the library hence the random flicks I have been posting. The most exciting part of this movie was seeing her wear my tshirt! But I did laugh while watching and adore Amanda Bynes. Oh to be able to relive those college days!
Meanwhile just looking forward to spring when I can be outside and have a life again and not just post what movies I've watched. Instead in the summer I go to the movies for AC to keep cool and can write about new ones. Yes I too am a dork! Sydney 4 President! Yay!

Street Kings

I think that this movie was more "righteous" than Righteous Kill. Altho it was a bit crazy that Ludlow was like Superman and never really got more than a scratch on him while he took out a load of guys at once all by himself. This movie was a crazy cop flick with an interesting scheme of who's the good cop, are there any good cops? Much more going on here than RK offering more action and much more drama but a little ridiculous too. Overall I have to admit I really enjoyed it! Love the crazy cop movies!

Goodbye Greenlee?

Seriously I can't even believe they'd have her come back for just a couple months and do this to us! Found this note online back in October "So much for the original Greenlee. After billing the return of Rebecca Budig to the role she created, All My Children must now prepare itself to say goodbye to this actress. She'll be leaving when her contract expires in January."

The question is well, actually I am faily certain the answer is, that her body will of course never be found. That way in the future she can come back and perhaps with a new face because she needed surgery to recover from the devasting accident which left her the opportunity to reinvent herself. Alas she finally returns to Pine Valley in some future date to stir up drama like only her character can which really did do alot since October.

Quick recap:
The whole 'kidnapping' fiasco
Marrying Aidan
Being the reason Aidan was in the hospital
Divorcing Aidan
Helping Ryan get Annie into the psych ward
Almost marrying Ryan
oh yeah, falling off a cliff before the wedding...

Is this just to get back at Ryan for doing the SAME thing to YOU?

True All My Children fans can read on here if they haven't already:

Righteous Kill

This is my kind of movie. I don't know how I missed Pachino and Dinero in theaters. Can't go wrong with these guys. John Leguizamo added another dymanic character to this story. While it appeared to be very predictable it was very entertaining and was sadly surprised at the end even tho I know I should have seen it coming.
Once its finally on regular tv I'm sure they'll play it again and again being it is Pachino and Dinero and I will more than likelly find myself sitting down and getting sucking back in every time. Still leaves me hungry for the shooting range as I have never shot a gun but would like to know how, you know, just in case ;) Plus you want to know why there is so much violence? They make it look like so much fun! (Just in the shooting range for me tho, not so much actually hitting any real targets of course!)

Smart People

Watched this funny movie on Friday. I have to say Chuck was my favorite character. He provided the bulk of laughs and was the one that really wasn't one of the 'smart people' which everyone needed to connect back to society.
Everyone's family is somewhat disfunctional that's what makes it a family. The dynamics in this family are quite entertaining in a quirky 'smart' way. Not a must see but yet a why not at the same time. Unless of course you are always facing quirky moments with your family you must then find the time to laugh at this family.

Good Luck Chuck

This movie was really really funny. Be prepared for plenty of tna though...mostly tits and lots of not so much making love but plenty of sex. Lots of graphic scenes, poor Dane Cook had a lot of awkward scenes in this movie.

This scene was really cute, one of my favorites. He purposely gets her ice cream on his face for her to clean off, very silly, and very cute. I totally ate that up :)
And since she is such a clumsy mess he gives her a present, a band aid! LOL
Gotta love the clowns, and if you do, you'll love this movie! But if you get annoyed by those silly boys then you won't find it so funny so stick to your serious flicks or true romance stories.

Made of Honor

Very cute & very funny. Makes you wonder if a guy and girl can be just friends though... does someone always have a secret wish to be with the other? Is that what keeps the friendship going? I know, its just a movie, but aren't there plenty of girls that befriend a player hoping she'll be the one? This is why I try to only stay around the nice guys.

Seven Pounds

It's movie week what can I say... got this one from a coworker and watched it last night. Excellent movie!!! I love Will Smith and this movie. There was foreshadowing but not taking away plenty of anticipation too.

Moral of the story: Do not even try to use your blackberry while driving!
My ex used to try and I would always take it from him and my point was proven, it is just not a good idea at all.
I was reminiscent also of James Patterson's novel, Suzanne's Diary to Nicholas, with a man trying to open his heart again after having lost the love of his life, while a totally different story and different situation and different outcomes there is that vulnerability of a man opening his heart again :) For more of a love story definately stick with Suzanne's Diary to Nicholas but for an entertaining movie that can move you, if you let yourself get into it tears will be shed with Seven Pounds.

Definitely Maybe

I just watched this movie last night. It was really cute! Tis the season for romantic comedies and I have to say altho initially the commercials were overwhelming and so I was turned away from watching it, enough time lapsed and it was definitely worth seeing! For all those with alternate happily ever afters, enjoy :)

back 2 the gym

Except for yoga last week I didn't work out at all. Been fighting a cold which after taking allergy medicine and it working better than anything else I guess I had allergies. Crazy weather ups and downs will do that. Anyways doing much better and did both the bike for 20 minutes tonight, worked the arms, and 30 minutes on the elliptical and still standing so I'm still in the zone. Hoping to stray from the late night snacks later tho...hmmm..wish me luck! It's just that I haven't had dinner yet and foods on the brain. I shall stay strong.

The library closed at 5 o'clock today! Yay! I work 1 - 9pm on Tuesdays so this was really good news. I will be paid till 9pm but already home getting ready for some early zzz's. Maybe I can say goodbye to this cough after tonight. My boss even had called someone just in case I wasn't up for working tonight, truth - she hates having sick people around, the germs freak her out. Got lucky though and didn't need to take the sick time. Just time now to lounge and rest :)
